Itinerary
After breakfast from your hotel in Nairobi, we will pick you up and leave for Masai Mara. We'll drive through the Great Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the Serengeti vast plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is home to the Big Five: lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and rhino. Have lunch at our camp and relax before departing for the afternoon drive. Other animals in the park include the Maasai giraffe, buffalo, eland and thousands of plain game including impala, zebra, Topi, and both Thompsons and Grant gazelles.
After the morning breakfast, you will leave for a full-day game drive with packed lunch. The search for great wild animals continues. On the plains are large herds of herbivores grazing and cheetahs and leopards hiding in their locations. The Masai Mara is regarded as the jewel of Kenya’s wildlife viewing areas. There have been some 95 species of mammals, amphibians and reptiles and over 400 bird species recorded on the reserve. Nowhere in Africa is wildlife more abundant, and it is, for this reason, a visitor hardly misses seeing the Big Five (buffalo, elephant, leopard, lion, and rhino). The midday meals will be at the picnic Mara River migration point. Later, you will return to the camp for dinner.
No Kenya adventure safari in Masai Mara is complete without a visit to a Maasai village. Immerse yourself in the vibrant culture, where you’ll experience traditional songs, dances, and the famous Maasai jumping ritual.
Afterward, return to the campsite for a hearty breakfast, check out, and drive to Nakuru. You’ll arrive at the hotel in the afternoon, with some free time to explore Nakuru city before dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, your guide will brief you about Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy a thrilling safari through the park, spotting black and white rhinos, buffaloes, lions, leopards, flamingos, pelicans, baboons, impalas, and more. Visit the Baboon Viewpoint Cliff for panoramic views before leaving the park and heading to Naivasha with a lunch stop along the way.
Arrive at your hotel in Naivasha by late afternoon, where you'll have free time to relax. For those interested, your guide can take you to Lake Naivasha for an optional boat ride (at extra cost) to see birds and hippos. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
After an early breakfast, get ready for an exciting day at Hell’s Gate National Park. Choose between a safari drive with your guide or cycling 14 km to the gorge (optional). Enjoy a guided nature walk before heading back to the main gate.
Next, drive to Amboseli National Park, with a lunch stop along the way. Arrive at Amboseli Campsite in time for sunset, check-in, and a delightful dinner. End the day with a bonfire and a peaceful overnight stay.
