Itinerary
You will be picked up from your hotel or the airport in Nairobi and driven to the main gate of the Mara, with a brief comfort break in Narok town. You are expected to arrive in time for lunch, check-in, and be served lunch. After that, you will proceed for an evening game drive, where you can expect to see different types of wild animals while guided by our tour guide. You will then return for dinner and an overnight stay.
Start your day with breakfast at the earliest time, then head out for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara, also known as the savannah wilderness. You can see wild animals and capture some unforgettable moments on camera. For lunch, our guide will stop at the Mara Triangle viewpoint, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch and take in the fresh air of the savannah. Close to the picnic spot, you will have a view of the Serengeti in the distance.
In the evening, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay at the lodge on a full-board basis.
After breakfast, check out of the lodge and begin your journey to the Rift Valley area of Kenya to visit Lake Nakuru. The drive will take about four hours, with a stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can buy souvenirs and enjoy the cool breeze of the plateau.
Arrive in time for lunch and check-in at the hotel. After having your lunch proceed for your game drive at Lake Nakuru, where you can expect to see at least four types of antelopes, including Thomson's gazelles, hippos, Grevy's zebras, and rhinos. The guide will explain the different behaviors of the animals to help you better understand.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel on a full-board basis.
Have breakfast at the hotel and then leave for the game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. It is known for its variety of birds including flamingoes and reknowed for its White and Black rhinos. Enjoy the view of hippos, buffaloes and crocodiles at Baboon Cliff. Later, have your lunch en route to Amboseli National Park, where you will check in at your camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
After enjoying a beautiful adventure, head to the coastal part of Kenya, which is rich in Swahili culture. After checking out and having lunch, you will be transferred to the railway station for your departure to coastal Mombasa.
Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to Diani Sea Resort for check-in. There, you will be served dinner while enjoying the cool ocean breeze. Then, relax and rest for the next day. No game morning game driver in Amboseli on this day.
Dinner and overnight stay are at Diani Sea Resort.
For the days you will be at the beach, you will spend your time at leisure enjoying the hotel's facilities. Diani has a population of around 100,000 inhabitants and is famous for its white sand beaches and blue ocean. The beach is popular for relaxing resorts which are popular with honeymooners, backpackers and families on holiday. Try a camel ride for the tourist experience or book a bike tour inland for a glimpse of life in local villages. Inland from the beach, there is extensive vegetation including numerous palm trees which cover the coastal areas. The Mwachema River flows into the sea at Diani Beach.
The general area is known for its coral reefs, black-and-white colobus monkeys, and for the closely located Shimba Hills National Reserve, a wildlife reserve which looks out over the Indian Ocean. Diani Beach has restaurants, hotels, supermarkets, and several shopping centres. The Beach is also a popular kitesurfing, jet skiing, and snorkelling location.
After breakfast, you will have a relaxing train journey back to Nairobi. In Nairobi, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight back home or dropped off at your place of choice.
